During the school year, we have our large group gatherings on Thursday nights at 8pm at Veritas Church. Over 400 college students gather weekly to hear teaching from the Bible and worship through live music. We believe that the Bible is God's Word for us today. Our usual pattern at Salt is to teach through books of the Bible.
Are you a Freshman? Well, if you are and you are wanting some incredibly fun fellowship in Iowa City, look no further! At Freshman Group, we desire to learn more about what it looks like to follow Christ in college and create lasting relationships with other students. At The Salt Company we desire not only be a ministry that worships corporately, but one that also meets weekly with smaller groups to create authentic relationships within the larger Salt community. We have over 100 student leaders who lead Connection Groups every week. Connection Groups meet in many different locations, on and off campus.
The most important aspect of The Salt Company is our Connection Groups, and all Connection Groups are led by student leaders. Joining The Salt Company leadership is the best way we know to be discipled during your college years. We aren't looking for perfect leaders, but broken people who model an authentic pattern of repentence + faith in Jesus.

The International Friendship Connection (IFC) is a fellowship of international students from all over the world and American friends at The University of Iowa who seek to care, welcome, serve and support international students, scholars and their families. We are continually working hard to makes Iowa City feel like a “home away from home” for many who are so far away from their own families.
Salt students are also sent to the nations each year to share the Gospel with college students who may not otherwise hear of Jesus as their Savior.
